There are a lot of new and exciting things going on at The RTA Store!!! We are very proud to introduce many new product lines. We are now carrying Master Bedrooms, Youth Bedrooms, TV Stands, Letter File Carts, Bookcases, and Desks. We're not stopping there...over the next couple of months we plan to increase our products by more than 50%!!!
As you would expect, just about everything is Ready-To-Assemble. One of our new lines, Legaré is 'FTA', or Fun-To-Assemble. All Legaré products require absolutely no tools or hardware for assembly, which makes it quite fun to put together!! The assembly is a unique locking design that requires no screws, nails, washers, hammers, or screwdrivers and the pieces take just minutes to assemble!
The Legaré products are extremely strong and can be assembled and disassembled time after time without any risk of damage to your furniture. The locking design holds multiple units together and the assembly design ensures that pieces will not come apart until you take them, apart.
You can check out our various Legaré products in TV Stands, Letter File Carts, Bookcases and Desks. They truly offer a unique and very functional design that fits into every lifestyle. We are very excited to have Legaré join The RTA Store and know that you will be just as satisfied and impressed with their products as we are.

The RTA Store
Hello All,
My name is Tyler and I work for The RTA Store. For those of you who do not know, "RTA" stands for Ready to Assemble. The RTA Store sells RTA Kitchen Cabinets, RTA Dining Room Furniture, and RTA Living Room Tables (we are constantly looking for additional high quality RTA manufacturers to add).
For my first post I thought I would let you know my thoughts on RTA kitchen cabinets; from high quality to mid-grade to low quality.
I do not consider myself to be an absolute expert on RTA kitchen cabinets but from what I do know there is definietly a distinct difference between high quality and low quality RTA cabinets. Now a days, all RTA kitchen cabinets should come with easy installation directions, all pre-drilled, and really the only tool you should need is a screwdriver (for CAM lock systems*). If you are looking at RTA cabinets that do not have those features than you are wasting your time (in my opinion). People who buy RTA kitchen cabinets know that they will have to do work to assemble the product and should be looking for high quality easy to assemble kitchen cabinets.
Construction of ready to assemble kitchen cabinets should be the most important thing to consider when purchasing your new kitchen. For starters, do not ever buy anything that has particle board or 'fake' wood in its construction, you are asking for a problem if you do. Particle board is constructed of wood chips, saw dust, and other wood particles and is less dense. It can mold, warp, break, and is a huge no-no when considering what RTA cabinets to purchase. Solid wood cabinets are your best bet. Now, if you want complete solid wood cabinets you may have to get them custom built and as far as I know they are not available as RTA. You should be looking to purchase 100% solid wood fronts and sides (door frames) with plywood backs and bottoms. The thicker the plywood, the better. A good thickness is about 1/2" for both.
RTA kitchen cabinets are becoming more and more popular everyday, as consumers become more cost effective and realize they can get the same quality kitchen cabinets for a fraction of the cost.
*CAM lock systems - consist of a base and a cam that latch together. Basically, you put the two pieces of the cabinet together and screw the cam with a simple turn and it latches the cabinet together. A CAM lock system is one of the most sturdy assembly systems you can buy.
